Born in Nairobi, he built the Comcraft Group into a billion-dollar manufacturer operating in more than forty countries, and has given away a great deal of it since.
Manu Chandaria is a Kenyan businessman and a central figure in the Comcraft Group, which manufactures steel, plastic and aluminium products across more than forty countries.
He was appointed OBE in 2003 and named Elder of the Burning Spear by President Mwai Kibaki in the same year.
